It's about whatever I am thinking about when I open it up to update. No plan, no idea what will show up- they are my 'thoughts for the day.' Although throughout the course of the day I think about more things then what appears on my blog, for those of you who were questioning my mental acuity.

think about it
So I love think it out type games. I love solving the crime or having mental challenges, figuring out the secret- stuff you really have to think and investigate and connect the facts together. Who dunnit type stuff, I love it! That is probably why my favorite show is CSI (the original). Puzzles just interest me. But not the jigsaw kind and I'm not really big into Sudoku. I like to have questions that need answers. I also enjoy cryptograms. You are probably thinking, what is a cryptogram- well I'll tell you. It is a message in which all the letters have been substituted for other letters. For example, "I am the walrus" in cryptogram form might look like this "T js kew pjvgho" where each letter represents a different letter. They are fun to figure out and the letters are different each time, T doesn't always = I, it just depends on whatever the person who wrote it decides to substitute. Make sense? You could set up your own cryptogram with your friends and no one would be able to read what you wrote, unless they had your cipher (your letter chart that explains the subsitutions)or they like to solve cryptograms and knew some of the tricks for figuring them out.
Anyway- I just did this you solve it type game yesterday and it was really fun. My time was 14:22 as in it took me 14 minutes and 22 seconds to solve. It is called Escape the Car. Basically you are stuck in a car and you have to look at everything, find stuff and then use your items collected and your wits to escape the car. See if you can figure it out! Click here to play Let me know what you think about the game and how you did!

The Five Finger Prayer
I got this cool email from a friend. Over the next week you should give this 5 Finger Prayer a try! Who knows, maybe you will develop a great prayer habit:)
The Five Finger Prayer
1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."
2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.
3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.
4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.
5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively
